New to the area and found this gem. It's a busy place. The food is really good and they're happy to tailor the menu to your selection. We had an omelette, oatmeal, green street cafe hash browns, and scrambled eggs. Great customer service and reasonably priced. I'll deffinetly return.

Great customer service, even better food. When we arrived it was pretty busy, we asked for first available & were seated in about 25 min at the bar. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. I came for the chicken and waffles, my boyfriend had an omelette. Everything was delicious. The strawberry milkshake was amazing!

Just ate here for the first time Sunday. Had a little wait but it went quickly. Service was great! We tried the chicken and waffles and Elvis french toast (pb and j) . Both were delicious!! The chicken and waffles were sooo good. I have never tried it and it sounded bizarre, but now I'm obsessed! Really enjoyed our experience, will definitely be back :)

I guess you can say I am a regular here since it's basically across the street from my house. The food here is great. Consistent service and quality of food is above par. If you are in the mood for something different there specialty griddle items put a delicious twist on classic favorites like Chicken and Waffles with a Twist, A waffle with cheddar, bacon and jalapeños inside the waffle with a fried chicken breast on top. Served with warm maple syrup. So frickin' good! Every time I come here I have a superb culinary experience with the prices as reasonable as they are it's totally worth a stop by.

I was a little put off by the annoying waitress Wednesday morning. I knew what I wanted and was fully prepared to give my order. Before I could get it out she cut me off. "I want to build my own--" "Ham, bacon, chorizo, chicken, sausage, or avocado?" And so on. If you go off script with this gal she can't handle it. Her haughty attitude rubbed me the wrong way. Let's hope the universe blesses her with a job more suited to her talents. BUT . . . The quality of the food more than made up for the snippy waitress. It's way better than you might expect from a little hole-in-the wall cafe. My guess is ingredients chosen with care. The cheese tasted like real cheddar, not some restaurant supply concoction. The eggs tasted real, not like egg beaters. The Green Street potatoes were delicious. Well done, Green St. Cafe!!

Great service, great food, great atmosphere! Good place to eat with family or friends. The patio is spacious. There is a bar inside as well.

Wow! What an awesome place this ended up being!!! Since moving to my current house I've been trying out all the local places. Even though I've driven past this place probably a hundred times and have even been in the same plaza I never noticed it. It's tucked away in the corner of the plaza sandwiched between a health spa and a fitness place. It's very tiny with patio seating, long bar seating, and both 4 and 2 people tables. Tables are spaced so even though it's a tiny restaurant you actually have space to breath without being elbow to elbow with the table next to you. I appreciate this since I'm sure if they wanted to they could cram more tables in there at the cost of comfort. Restaurant closes at 4pm but serves breakfast and lunch items anytime during the hours they're open. Restaurant was 100% capacity but we only had to wait about 10 minutes since we didn't care where they sat us. If you're picky it's probably a long wait. I'm a huge fan of lox and was excited to see on the menu "The East Coaster" benedict ($11.95). This is a bagel topped with cream cheese, lox, tomato, red onion, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and capers. Comes with choice of potatoes, fruit, or cottage cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed this breakfast. Lox was comparable to what you'd get at a bagel shop and went great with the perfectly poached eggs. I didn't get much flavor from the hollandaise sauce but that was fine by me since it didn't overpower the lox. This was a great breakfast creation and I can't wait to have it again. For my side I had the "Green Street Potatoes" which were cubes of potato pan fried with onion and bell pepper. Doused it with Tapatio sauce. I prefer hash browns which they don't serve here but they do get a nice crispy crust on the potatoes for added texture. yelp.com/biz_photos/gree… My wife's Country Breakfast for $9.95 was insane. Her plate was so frickin' huge it made three meals. It came with the biggest chicken fried steak I've ever seen, three eggs any style, two biscuits smothered in sausage gravy, and side of potatoes (or fruit, or cottage cheese). Every head in the restaurant turned when the waiter brought that plate to our table since the CF steak was hanging off on both sides of the plate due to it's massive size. My wife ate a bunch, I ate a bunch, and she still had over half of it to take home. For dinner that night I had the remaining half on the biscuits & gravy which I reheated in the tinfoil to go container they give you. It may be cuz I haven't had chicken fried steak in years, but man, this was soooooooo good even being reheated. The steak part tasted like it has been marinated in something and the breading too was full of seasonings. It was so tender I didn't even use a knife, just cut it with a fork. Even the biscuits & gravy were amazing. Granted.... I count calories and haven't eaten anything this fattening in ages.... but damn. So good. yelp.com/biz_photos/gree… yelp.com/biz_photos/gree… Even though the place was 100% capacity our waiter was super friendly and efficient our entire meal.

They probably didn't put the GSC next to a gym on purpose, but in case they did, I recommend the following taunt: taking large bites of your deep pocket Belgian waffle, chewing slowly with exaggerated relish, and smiling broadly when you finish. Stretch a little as you push back from the table -- remind them that you just ate WAFFLES, dangit! Since I discovered this place three weeks ago, I have been back five times to try more of their delicious menu items; everything was either 4- or 5-star worthy. Even though GSC excels at breakfast, you should also give their lunch menu a chance. I haven't had a better beef salad anywhere except possibly at Silk Thai. Breakfast: Bready stuff; S'mores french toast is our kids' 4-star go-to item. It's made from extra large slices of thick, fluffy toast and boasts melted marhsmallows inside, drizzled with Nutella where it should be *slathered* (hey GSC chef, quit being so stingy with the Nutella!). The Chicken 'n' Waffles With a Twist has the inventive addition of cheese and jalapenos in the batter itself, topped by the fried chicken and gravy. You can order the waffle without the "twist", but our waitress urged us to try it that way just once -- now I will in turn urge you! It was delicious, better than Rosco's version, a five-star masterpiece. Or, go "plain" on the waffle -- it's still the best out there. The chicken itself was juicy, flavorful breast fried up just right with a perfect breading (which I am not supposed to eat but I had a bite anyway). Egg dishes; Cajun Benedict, my personal pick. Not sure if their crab cake recipe is gluten-free or not, but it's a 5 star, decadent alternative to an english muffin. The hollandaise sauce tastes legit, though it could stand to be applied a little more generously. Huntington Benedict swaps the english muffin for a portabello mushroom, for even more calorie reduction and healthiness. I put that one at 4 stars because it lacked pizazz in the flavor dept, but was otherwise beautifully executed. The side of scrambled eggs is plain, ho-hum, 3 star simplicity. Gluten-Free; Bless 'em for even offering gluten-free alternatives, and bless 'em twice for doing a decent job of it! The pancakes are large and with a good flavor and texture -- no, not *exactly* like the regular version, but pretty good. None of the telltale grittiness that comes from overuse of rice flour. The Waffle was just shy of perfect because I detected the innermost layer was slightly underdone -- surely it takes a lot of practice to get a gluten-free recipe just right, so I will cut them a little slack. Overall, the GF attempts rate a 4 star average. Lunch: Beef Salad; 5 stars, the champ of beef salads! Big enough for two to share, I could not make it thorugh. I don't know exactly the cut of beef, but it was a high quality cut and cooked perfectly to medium. I asked for balsamic vinaigrette on the side, because I can't stand blue cheese dressing -- good choice of flavor blends. Build-Your-Own-Burger: bless'em a third time for offering a lettuce wrap option. Very good patty, freshly made, to which I added swiss cheese, grilled mushrooms, mayo. It was twice the deliciousness and 3X the protein of the Mc D's "Angus Mushroom Swiss" version, with none of the bread. 4.5 stars. Misc. Observations: It's frustrating that they close at 4:00 -- I would totally come here for dinner if I could. If I could add one more complaint it's that the kitchen is slow, and you will sometimes wait what seems like forever for your food. Still, I'd rather deal with that than a kitchen that's fast because they cut corners with prefabricated burger patties, commercial waffle mix and/or jarred Hollandaise sauce. Our servers are mostly great and always friendly. Don't blame them if the kitchen is slow or if there's a wait for your table -- try to get to breakfast before 8:30 next time ;). The patio is a great place to sit and observe the traffic going by on Warner. They block out the lower window panes on the the Workout place next door, but you can still see those poor saps plugging away on their treadmills and cycles; resist the urge to show off your great food, and try not to feel too smug...just as they're trying not to feel too righteous for workiing out instead of pigging out.. A little taunting wouldn't hurt, either.

Great place for breakfast , my favorites are the chicken and waffle and the crab cake benedicti, don't miss it, make sure you can wait a little because it's always busy. Good coffee.

Homemade food soooo fresh and tantalizing....made me want to get in my kitchen and start cooking. I had the Chicken breast sandwich with a side of fruit & cup of chicken vegetable soup.....seriously tasted like the veggies and fruit were literally just picked.....now I understand why there is always a line of people here....but soooo worth the wait

I've been here a few times. The food has always been very good in my opinion. Service is good depending on the time of day. If it's busy, expect to wait a while for drink refills and such. Staff has always been very nice regardless. The patio is nice for a fresh air breakfast.

Ate here today with my wife and it was amazing! Small little area so I'm sure it gets busy during the breakfast hour but we went at around 230pm. I had the East Coaster and my wife had the Eggs Benedict. The East Coaster was basically a lox bagel (smoked salmon) with eggs Benedict on top, best of both worlds!!! I was in heaven! My wife also enjoyed her eggs benedict. We were told by the very nice server they make the hollandaise sauce from scratch and you can tell. Probably the best eggs benedict I've ever had! Love this place highly recommend it.

Came in today craving a turkey sandwich. Lookin through the menu, there wasn't one! When the waitress came around i told her i was craving a turkey sandwich and could she arrange it. She came up with the boat and added turkey. The sandwich arrived and it was fabulous! Second time here and have ZERO complaints! Thx

Very affordable breakfast right in my neck of the woods! Short 5 minute wait at 11am on a Saturday for party of 2. Sat outside on the patio with one heat lamp. Attentive service. Friendly server. The 3 eggs and bacon breakfast is only $6. Yes, SIX DOLLARS! It also comes with choice of bread and potatoes or fruit. The Bloody Mary at $6.95 was more expensive than my meal. We got hot a plain Belgian waffle to share ($5.95). Everything was great! Very standard breakfast food, not too overly greasy and eggs perfectly cooked to my liking. 2 breakfasts + one Bloody Mary + one Belgian waffle = $25 something pre-tip. Very afforable!! Like Arnold said, "I'll be back!" Hahah.

This is one of the best breakfast spots in town. It is packed every morning, but especially Sundays, breakfast and lunch. But it's worth the wait. Both hash browns and potatoes are usually squishy and burnt, but it's still delicious in between. Everything from eggs Benedict to a basic omelet is good old fashion breakfast. And the crab cakes are the best ones I've had around here. If you come here for just one meal, come for breakfast.

I just loove this place! Definitely one of the best breakfast places here in Huntington Beach, in not the whole OC! The waitresses are nice & service is good! They serve food in big proportions! My favorite is the Cajun eggs Benedict over crab cakes w/a side of hash browns or cottage cheese! Even their coffee is always fresh! Been coming here five years now & have never been disappointed. Brace yourselves for a wait on the weekends, though, coz the place tends to get packed!

Great breakfast spot! The staff has always been friendly and usually pretty prompt with their service. The blueberry pancakes are my favorite! Definitely recommend this place.

This is for the biscuit and gravy people out there: best biscuits and gravy I've had (beside home cooked). The gravy alone is just great but the biscuits are so fluffy and fresh. Everywhere else it's either the biscuits are hard but have great gravy or bad gravy good biscuits. Green Street has mastered both. Also the Eggs Benedict is great too. Very smooth and the egg yolk was perfect. My boyfriend and I got the regular eggs ben with the green street potatoes and then a side of biscuits and gravy with a side red mashed potatoes and the total was $16.04. Super cheap and we were stuffed after.

Came here on a Sunday morning for some brunch and we were seated outside on the patio. The place is relatively small and it had a great mom and pop feel to it. Their crabcake eggs Benedict accompanied by a mimosa was a perfect pairing and I really enjoyed the meal. Although the service was kinda slow, I'll definitely be back. All in all, I would definitely recommend the crabcake eggs Benedict.

Saw the reviews on Yelp so we stopped by for some hearty but inexpensive brunch. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for two (they also have some outdoor seating) on a Saturday afternoon. Service staff is really friendly. We ordered the Chocolate Banana Waffles (only $7!) and the Corned Beef Hash (about $9 or $10). As other reviewers have mentioned, the Corned Beef is real - you get chunks of the beef. The portion is pretty large, too, and includes three eggs. The meat was a bit bland but when eaten with the eggs and onions/bell peppers, it was just fine. Yum. I took some leftovers home since I couldn't finish. The Chocolate Banana Waffles were very good, too - crisp on the outside and slightly moist on the inside. It came with a huge dollop of whipped cream and chocolate chips sprinkled on it. I still think the Chocolate Banana Waffle at Plum's in Costa Mesa is still number one, but this one is good and like half the price. The only negative is that the food took a very long time to come out - the waiter did apologize and said that they had a lot of orders to fill.

4 stars! I would have given 5, but I wish it were bigger, and because it's so small and busy, our food came out at different times. First of all, the food was great! I ordered the breakfast sandwich with fruit on the side and was surprised at how much I got for the price! I'm not exactly sure what my mom ordered but she got the Maui Wowie pancakes with macadamia nuts on top and we all ate some of it because it was so good! The bananas are cooked into the pancakes so every bite is delicious! Three of us ordered mimosas, and a waitress came back out to see if we would prefer to buy the bottle, which saved us some money because each mimosa is $5 and the bottle was only $16. We definitely appreciated that she came out and asked us. I would definitely come back here again and again, and I would recommend this little cafe to anyone!

Sat out in the patio, great weather to have breakfast, with good people good food :) Their breakfast here was simply delicious. The mimosa. On point and very friendly :) I would have round two, but its time to go back to az, so have a lot of errands to do. Booo The Egg Huntington: which is the portobello muchroom egg benedict, it was superb. Fresh fruits on the side. The hash brown was crispy and well cooked. I loved it. Smores french toast : boyfriend loved it. You can't go wrong with having sweets in the morning :))) I shall come back :))

Great local joint, walking distance from my new place. Expect a line if you're here on the weekend, but anything around twenty minutes or less is well worth waiting. Big menu, with a couple of Greek bites, burgers, sandwiches, and of course, breakfast. Between my wife and I, we tried the chocolate chip pancakes, and the country fried steak. Both were outstanding, and the portions were so large we left with half of our meal for later. The biscuits don't quite match up to the ones I've had in the south, but they're delicious and worth getting as a bread option. Service is quick, and coffee refills are on point. Definitely will return!

Come for the food, stay home for the service. I was pretty pleased with my meal as were my friends, but service is very slow yet friendly here. I came here with a group of 7 on a weekday and we probably had to wait at least 30 minutes for a table. When we were finally seated, we were perplexed because the restaurant was pretty empty. It took a while for our orders to come out or to get any attention from the waitress. I ordered the Huntington benedict. A poached egg came on top of avocado, tomato, and a portobello mushroom. I liked this. I had a bite of my friend's smore's french toast and this was also very good.

This little casual cafe has great breakfasts. The corned beed and hash is delicious and tastes homemade. I have also tried the macadamia pancakes and they are unusually good. Large enough for 2 people to share.

I'm a huge breakfast/brunch eater.. Can't be happier that I found this place on yelp. Simple traditional breakfast items with a twist. We had the peanut butter and jelly French toast... Omg! As simple as it sounds it was more than what I expected! Can't wait to go back and get some more. We also had the Cajun Benedict which is over a crab cake... Yummy!!! I also had a latte... This place was every bring I wanted a brunch place to have and more! So delicious!!!

I have heard great things about this place so I tried it. The first visit was nothing special. The food was fine but the server was rude and it took forever to get our food. We had straightforward orders and the waiter didn't even acknowledge that we were waiting. The second trip wasn't any better. A little faster service but the staff was still a bit rude. Trip three I was really hoping for a change. It wasn't busy and they had too many people working so I expected better service. It was TERRIBLE! The waiter acted like he was annoyed to be serving us. We waited over 30 minutes for two Cobb Salads and he almost elbowed my mom in the face because he was trying to get the dirty dishes right after he set the check in front of her. He barley spoke to us. I was really hoping to enjoy this place but I don't think I will ever go back. I feel like I gave it a fair shot. I wish I liked it because I love Boun Guesto. I think if they fixed the wait staff it might improve and speed up the kitchen. I hope they do but I won't be there to see it.

Breakfast was AWESOME! Stopped by on a weekday, no wait! Great food and great prices! Country breakfast: chicken fried steak, three eggs, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Green St combo: three eggs, red potatoes, sausage and two buttermilk pancakes. Service was great too. Delicious and a great way to start the day. Can't wait to come by again.

A super cozy cafe near the beach that serves excellent breakfast food. Both savory and sweet dishes are equally good. I had the HB egg benedict & the table shared Macadamia/Banana pancakes. Both dishes were flavor combos that I've never had before. The HB benedict sat on top of a portabello mushroom instead of an english muffin (or any type of bread). The dish was so flavorful that I never missed the bread. The pancakes were as wonderful as the name sounds. Nice crunch from the macadamia nuts and just the right amount of sweetness from the bananas. You need little to no syrup.

Cute little place in a small complex. It's kind of weird though that there's a gym right next to eat. Felt like they could watch me eat while they worked out. Hope they weren't hungry.

I can't believe I just discovered this whole in the wall brunch place today!! I got the eggs Benedict and my friend got the chicken and waffles which was really good. The waffle was sweet, but not too over powering. Can't wait to try more dishes here.

This is our go-to place for breakfast! You can't beat the food, great variety, good pricing and nice staff. This place is owned by the same people who own Buon Gusto a few doors down and they have excellent food also.

The Green Street Stuffed French Toast is YUMMY! It's a must. Our table also had the veggie omelet, which had the freshest vegetables I could imagine, the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy, which could have used more gravy but were super tasty nonetheless, and a huge burrito at a fantastic price. The portions are really large, so sharing is an option.

  • Brigette R.

Cozy breakfast spot. We came pretty early to beat the crowd, maybe 7ish. We ordered French toast and an egg white omelette with veggies. The French toast was enough to share between two people. I was pleased they had honey instead of syrup(always a plus). The waitress was efficient and friendly. She refilled our coffees without asking, which is always nice. The tv was replaying the soccer game from day before, no annoying people having a loud conversation, good food, & they accepted credit cards. A win win breakfast. We'll be back to this little breakfast spot. Short drive to the beach to have a nice stroll after your meal.

Had their veggie omelette and the hubby has the Cajun eggs Benedict. Everything was incredibly good!! I called in my order and it was ready when I got there. The omelette was cooked perfectly and the fruit with it was very good. My hubs liked his breakfast as well. The crab cake was great with the eggs and the potatoes were delicious! Will definitely be back :)

I've been craving for some eggs Benedict and found this place while yelping at work. I decided to check it out with my sister. We shared the Cajun Benedict with additional Avocado & extra hollandaise. Let me tell you, the crab cakes are huge & thick with a lot of crab meat stuffing. Sooo BOMBBB!! The hollandaise sauce was not as thick and creamy as it should have been. I got this with the green street potatoes, which was delicious for its green peppers & onions. It allowed for more Cajun flavors in the dish. Check out the place for the crab cakes .

Delicious! Was seated as soon as I walked in, (I was by myself) larger parties did have a wait. Ordered the veggie omelette with fresh fruit. It was perfectly cooked, veggies were still fresh and the cheese was yummy. Service was excellent. They are on top of their Sunday brunch game. I also got a bloody Mary... It was good, not the best I've ever had but decent for a cafe. Will be returning to try out different items on the menu and recommend it to my gf, who moved fairly close to it.

This is the second time I've had lunch here. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet there were several uncleared tables outside, so we sat inside. Once inside, the moment I put my hands on the table, I realized that it wasn't wiped down....something sticky. Having to ask and wait a few minutes to have the table wiped down was annoying, especially since this cafe wasn't busy. After that, service was fine, just a tad bit slow. You shouldn't have to ask for refills for drinks. I think that if the servers were a bit more diligent, then I would consider this cafe for a higher ranking. Food average.

This place is wonderful! I went here for a late lunch with my boyfriend although I was in the mood for breakfast; and to my pleasant surprise I found that they serve breakfast all day! I got the green street breakfast which is two very good sized pancakes, eggs, and bacon/sausage, and a side of your choice which has even more options! My boyfriend got the country fried breakfast which is a VERY large chicken fried steak and comes with eggs and a choice of side. What was even more wonderful is that they had a gluten free option and I was able to get delicious gluten free pancakes! Which is sometimes hard to find! With all of this food I was afraid that it would come out to a price I didn't want to pay but again I was pleasantly surprised that it only came to about $25!!!!

You can tell this place is worthwhile by how long the lines can be on a nice weekend. Definately worth the wait tho . The Eggs Huntington Are my favorite, but they have epic breakfast burritos too that can be a challenge to finish some days. Great customer service , nice bar and always nice having outside seating .

Very nice spot and enjoy the outside dining. Our service was quite good. The waiter was attentive and the menu quite large. I didn't find the food extraordinary. It was rather bland and nothing to write home about. I would return here for the nice service and atmosphere. However if I'm looking for an out of this world meal this is not the location.

Came here today for breakfast with my dad and his colleague, Loved the food, and the coffee was fresh and tasty. I had the Eggs Benedict with smashed red potatoes. Delicious! I'm a fan, and I will definitely be back here many more times. Just a heads up, seating is pretty limited, and it gets busy quickly. We came in at 9:30am and there was a wait since it was peak-breakfast-hours. My dad had the Greek Omelette, and loved it. His business colleague had the Corned Beef Hash, which he also loved. 5-stars.

The service is better than the food. Great location though and it's beautiful to sit outside on their patio. Not sure if I would go here again though for breakfast.

Was there for brunch on 11/11. I couldn't decide on savory or sweet. Finally ordered the ELVIS'S PBJ & B TOAST...$7.95 (French toast stuffed with bananas, peanut butter and boysenberry jelly). It was good, but I should have gone with the Maui Wowi (Macadamia Nut and Banana Pancakes). I sampled my mom's and it really blew my socks off. Even the buttermilk pancakes were good. My very picky 3 year old daughter almost finished all of hers which is a clear indication to me that these were fantastic!

Was here today and had the Greek Omelet. Totally awesome, as is all there food! Was there with Family on Sunday we all had their burgers... Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had:-)

  • Gigi B.

What i enjoyed was food was prepared with fresh ingredients and made to order, the Cajun crab cake breakfast is a great example. The crab cakes are the real deal, they used lump crab and very little coating and no fillers. The spinach was fresh and not frozen, their hollandaise sauce had a nice twist and complimented the eggs Benedict. The buttermilk pancakes were hot, moist, fluffy, And straight off the grill. The service is prompt and although there is a wait for your order, for me it's worth it since its fresh. The only disappointment for me was the cappuccino, at $4.50 a pop I expected a really great cuppa, but it was mediocre at best. I guess I expected it to taste close to a cappuccino like I had in Italy, since owner of this place also owns Italian restaurant Buon Gusto, but it was not to be. But the quality of the food makes up for it.

Met up a friend here for breakfast. The food on the menu seemed more like the "normal" breakfast stuff with a very slight twist on some items. We tried out the Egg Huntington (a portobello mushroom egg Benedict) and the Greek Omelette, which tasted way better than they sound on the menu. Both had a very yummy, clean, surprisingly goodness when you bite right in. Green Street Cafe is nice early morning stop for healthy traditional breakfast food.

This place became a habit for me it's so good I always order the green street combo and can barely finish It, but I seem to manage every time. Everyone is super nice and the service is always great. Looking forward to the next combo later today.

Great place to eat. 5 stars for great food, outdoor dining, mimosas and excellent service. Dora was our waitress today. She was wonderful. We had the east coast benedict with smashed red potatoes- not only beautiful to look at but it was delicious, and the portions were very generous. I plan on coming back soon for lunch- their menu had some interesting items on it. The only downside I can think of is that they are really busy on the weekends . We drove by several times in the past and didn't want to wait- it was always packed. Today we had to wait 15 minutes for a table outside- not too bad.

Go here occasionally with my girl friends for breakfast. Food is delicious, staff very friendly, food has always come out in a timely manner. It's not very big inside and their largest table only seat four; could be a draw back for large groups. They also have a patio with heaters for those slightly cooler days. They are only open until 2. The reason for only giving them four stars, they changed their coffee it's very very dark too bitter tasting. I drink black coffee and even with adding hot water it was not good. Ordered the decaf pretty much they same way, has to add hot water, sweetener and cream.

I heard rave reviews about their breakfast burritos so my friend and i dropped in on a Saturday morning... we wanted to sit outside but of course it was packed, great sign of a good spot... nonetheless we were seated quickly, ordered and food was out in a few minutes. Coffee was good and the burrito was mighty tasty! Serivce was also excellent! I;ll definitely be back!

The food was great and the portions big. Neat set up for a cafe and the place was packed. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and the staff was exteremly friendly and provided great recommendations.

Really good! Low down: Went around 1:30 pm yesterday (Monday) and there were only 2 other tables filled, no wait! BF had the chicken and waffles ~$12 and I had the cajun benedict ~$14 both were really good! I will definitely be back but next time I will probably get the chicken and waffles, it was omg good and generously portioned. Oh and service was great, the ladies were super sweet and genuinely nice [=

Been here a few times. Awesome local joint. Service in point. Classic twist on brunch and lunch items. Better than any chain restaurants. If you're big on supporting local businesses this would be one that'll make you come back over and over. Try going for breakfast/brunch. Their twist on chicken and waffles is unreal. If you're an egg person you have to come the Green St. You will not be regretful.

The food alone warrants 3.5-4 stars, but the service was absolutely appalling. First of all, I called around 10:15 and said I had a party of two and a baby and would be there in 15 minutes and asked if there was a wait...the person on the other line said "no, not at all" and that was that. So we arrive at 10:30 and of course there was a huge crowd of people in front, so I put our name in and we were seated 15-20 minutes later...not a big deal, could have been an unforeseen crowd of people that just happened to arrive in the 15 minutes it took me to get there. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt I guess. The place is pretty cute, kinda cramped space inside, but lots of patio seating and overall comfortable, casual vibe. No one addressed us for the next FIFTEEN minutes after we were seated. No waters, no hellos, nothing. Finally they brought us waters and we each ordered a coffee. Our waitor spilled both of our coffees on the table, no big deal, but he saw himself spill, looked at the puddle of coffee on the table, and then just walked away. Uh, ok. Finally we order...my friend ordered the Eggs Benedict and I saw that they had gluten-free pancakes as well as a bunch of other interesting pancakes, banana macadamia, PB&J, etc. I asked if I could get the PB&J pancakes gluten-free, so he went to check...someone else came out (the manager maybe) and told me they could make them for me but it would be $4.00 extra. WHAT?! First of all the PB&J pancakes were the same price if not cheaper than the gluten-free ones ($7.95 verses $8.95), second of all, the ONLY thing special about the PB&J pancakes were that they were cooked with peanut butter mixed into the batter and they were served with blackberry syrup instead of maple. I would have gladly paid the higher of the two prices, but $4.00 extra...why on earth would I pay $4.00 extra? The gluten-free pancakes were clearly marked with their own price on the menu, not like most places who just put "we can make your pancakes gluten-free for $2.00 extra" or whatever, so why on earth would I pay $4.00 on top of that? So I said no thanks I'll just take the regular gluten-free pancakes at which point she changed her mind and said they would just make me the PB&J ones for the same price. Ok nice gesture, but were you just trying to see if I was an idiot and would actually pay $4.00 extra first? I was pretty baffled and annoyed. So our food comes out pretty quick actually, but not before I had to get up twice to ask for the water we ordered for my friend's baby 20 minutes previously. The Eggs Benedict my friend ordered looked delicious and she seemed to like it...my pancakes were huge and beautiful, especially for the marked menu price. My qualms were that 1.) There was no butter anywhere to be found...who serves pancakes with no butter? Heathens 2.) No blackberry syrup anywhere to be found 3.) The peanut butter they tried to charge me $4.00 for was a tiny plastic 1oz cup with maybe a tablespoon of peanut butter in it. WHAT THE FUCK!? The pancakes were just standard gluten-free pancakes, nothing special or peanut-buttery about them. I'm still trying to figure out why they would be up-charging me for those. When I had to get up and complain, there was a group of staff at the front cash register just standing around...overall the service here just left a bad taste in my mouth. I would consider returning and giving them another chance, but they really need to step up their game. Judging by the reviews, it seems I may have just caught them on a bad day. By the way, restaurant-owners: stop making it sound like gluten-free pancake mix is like gold and costs you a fortune...people who are ordering them are probably pretty familiar with gluten-free products and thus know that Bisquik Pancake Mix retails around $4-$5...gluten-free pancake mix...guess what, also retails around $4-$5. If you're going to offer gluten-free items on your menu, that's awesome, that's what got me in here to begin with, but when you try to take advantage of it, you get reviews like this.

First timer it's cute spot with friendly waitresses. I ordered the gluten free waffle which was very good. I like that they offer gluten free food items. Also ordered the hot chocolate which was ok needed to be hot not luke warm. And for $2.95 the portion should be bigger it was more whip cream than actual hot chocolate. It was nice to try it once but probably won't go back not worth the drive from Santa Ana.

The ONLY thing stopping this place from getting 5 stars is service. If you have time, this place has amazing food. We went in with my 3 and 5 year old and it took nearly an hour to get our food. My order was never put in and I had to wait an additional 30 min. If I was honest- it was worth the wait but over 2 hours at a restaurant with a 3 and 5 year old is very trying. The chicken and waffles are delicious! We won't be back because of the long service wait but will def once he kids are a little older.

Great atmosphere for Brunch. Sadly it is almost too popular. Yet it is worth the small 10-15 minute wait. They have added a lot more to the menu, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

Came here with my husband today for the first time. It was great! I ordered the eggs Huntington and he ordered the s'more French toast. They accidentally brought me the regular eggs Benedict, but apologized and quickly fixed their mistake. My husband loved his French toast, he also ate some of my food and said he would order that next time because it was that good. They also only charged me for the regular eggs Benedict( $2 cheaper) which I thought was pretty cool. Anyways great food and great service, will definitely come here again.

Big portions and friendly service. Menu is good for both pickiest healthy food pros and regular hungry eaters. They have gluten free waffles and pancake, choice of egg whites, not greasy hash browns which is important to us. Very good Italian coffee, not those watery coffee served in most breakfast restaurants. Organic tea bag! And, they have real maple syrup, it is important to my daughter!

The service is lacking. We had to ask 4 times for silverware and for side dishes. It appeared as if servers didn't want to be there. On the flip side, the food is good.

Overall, not "wow'd", was ok. Nice wait staff, large portions, nice patio, heat lamps, and quality coffee. They have gluten free options, awesome. Everything looked so good, but when you taste the hollandaise and gravy sauces it's as if something is missing. To clarify, I am being criticle. Would be willing to try something else, I want to try that dish with quinoa in the yelp photos but the waitress had not heard of it. Not sure if I will go back, but I would not be opposed to it. Ordered: country breakfast, east coast benedict, meat lovers omelette.

I thought this place was OK but not mind-blowing. I ordered a waffle w/fruit and a side of scrambled eggs and husband got a breakfast burrito with avocado added. What they upcharge for sides and extras doesn't seem worth the meek portions that are provided. We're not usually complainers, but when my husband saw only one piece of avo in his burrito he mentioned it to the waitress and she offered to bring out more to add. I will give our server credit for being attentive, responding to the complaint, and keeping our drinks refilled. Some of the other menu items looked really good and I'd give it another try to see how the eggs benedict or fried chicken are, but it's not the kind of place I feel like is worth dealing with a long wait and crowds, which they apparently enjoy on Sunday mornings. It's pretty much your typical diner breakfast.

Lots of dishes on the menu. Good pancakes. Not a big fan of their espresso bean selection. Wish they pushed a little more on the gourmet side of breakfast creations.

Came here for lunch with a friend and it was definitely worth the drive! I ordered the Meat Lover's omelette with ham, bacon and chorizo. It was sooooo good! Super flavorful and amazzzzzing! Their biscuits were definitely house-made and nice and fluffy. My friend ordered the Country Breakfast I believe. It had a GIANT ASS country-fried steak with some house potatoes, eggs, and some biscuits and gravy on the side. It was DEFINITELY waaay too big for her, so she ended up bringing half of it home. LOL. Our server was Maria, I believe and she was a total sweetheart. LOVED THE SERVICE. the only downside was that it is a big small and kind of cramped. If only the outside wasn't filled with other customers and the weather wasn't super freaking cold, I think our experience would have been 5-star worthy.

Came with some family. Sat outside on the patio during the afternoon. Service was immediate and prompt. Very clean from what I could see. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad. That plate was HUGE! There were crispy wontons on top of a bed of greens with avocado, tomoato, onion and a light balsamic dressing, which was dressed perfectly. The tuna was encrusted in pepper, a little to much for my liking since it got caught towards the back of my throat and coughed a bit. Nothing a little bit of water couldn't fix. But it was definitely fresh! Overall a nice place. I would definitely come for breakfast, all those items looked yummy!

Service was good, but almost to the point where it felt like they wanted you to hurry up and finish to turnover the table. It's odd cause it was empty with no wait. Food was good. Chicken and waffle was tasty. Chicken had a nice crispy breaking. Jalapeños in the waffle is a nice touch. Couldn't taste the other add ins...can't even remember what they were since I don't remember tasting them. Kids got French toast...they enjoyed it. Portions are large, so had leftovers to take home, which the kids were happy about so they could eat them for lunch. Overall, decent experience. Not sure I would go out of my way to go, but would go back to try other items.

Came here with my two friends one morning after one hell of a night, drinking wise. Food: the food here was excellent. i mean all we got was breakfast stuff besides one sandwich but hey nothing beats a hearty breakfast. my friends and i ordered Crab cake Benedict, the east coaster, chocolate chip pancakes, forgot the name of the sandwich, the Oreo cookies and cream shake, and the lavazza coffee -the crab cake Benedict was good. the crab cake itself was cooked/fried perfectly. golden brown on the outside and super delicious on the inside. the eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly too. i would say that they used a tad bit too much hollandaise sauce but hey it worked pretty well. one major thing that i would say is that the crab cakes were a tad too salty. so i would say watch out for that - the east coaster was delicious too. expect the same thing from the crab cake Benedict but instead of the crab cakes replace it with some nicely sliced salmon on top of a perfectly toasted bagel. the bagel, salmon, egg was delicious but i kind of got sick of eating it after 2 bites of so. i mean it was Delicious but i kind of got full off of one and i had to share it with the crab cakes Benedict. - forgot the name of the sandwich, but it was pretty darn good. you had a choice of either it being grilled or fried. my friend chose to fry it and it was not disappointing. perfectly fried on the outside while the inside was a perfect sandwich. they give you boysenberry i believe, but i might be wrong. i believe you eat it with your sandwich but its all up to your preference. one thing that i would like to mention is that its super oily if you get it fried. by that i mean once you pick it up you can see the oil glisten in the sun. you can see the oil all over your fingertips. and literally you can suck out the oil from the sandwich itself if you wanted to - the Oreo cookies and cream shake was super delicious. super sweet. super oreo-y. super delicious. its what a shake should be. and they don't hold back either. they give you the cup that they made it in so that's plenty to share or if you wanted to be selfish then its good enough for one. Service: the service was excellent. they are very attentive and they can answer an question that you dish out to them. they come by and check up on how you are doing every so often so that's a plus. they refill your coffee, your water, whatever you want. Location: i like the location but i would appreciate it if they were to expand but as of right now its good enough. they have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. the place does get packed in the morning so i suggest go early cause you will wait. when i arrived i waited no longer than 30 min. i would say that i waited about 20 min max. -parking is no hassle either. plenty of parking to go around

The burgers used to be the best ... (2.5 stars) We started with chips and guacamole -- there was very little flavor. Many moons ago the burger came with a brioche bun ... Yummy! Unfortunately they've made some changes ... Hmm! We came here for Sunday lunch and I ordered a medium burger with fries. The bun was so thick that I had to leave the top off, and the meat was pink, but it seemed like it had been sitting out a while and lost all its juice: it was very dry. The fries were OK. What happened in the kitchen when before the food used to be so good, but now so mediocre?

My partner and I dined here a few weeks ago. We overheard a conversation two servers were having. "You know what? I don't know care if this old lady thinks it's cold. I just tell her the cook will throw it back on the stove and then just throw it back into the microwave, who cares? They won't know". Mind you we sat at the bar, by the kitchen. The girl saying these things assumed nobody could hear her. What a mistake for her and godsend for us. The food was mediocre at best, line cook type food with a TRY at mid level dining experience which was immediately thrown off by a big heavyset burly looking man in his 60s or 70s that's yelling at his servers. He obviously is the boss of the joint, he makes it very well known by pointing, yelling, changing the TV channels whenever he feels like it. So yeah, did I mention the TVs? Probably about 4+ TVs in a restaurant that can seat up to 25-30 people inside. It's alright until he starts to turn all of the channels onto a sport show. A different sport on each TV like a sports bar but hey, it was BREAKFAST on a SATURDAY. Goodness sakes man. I guess he can't hear it cause he's old so the volume of a bunch of TVs on different sport channels. Imagine. Oh yeah, imagine the people that this place attracts. It's wonderful, I haven't seen so many peopleofwalmart congregate inside of one restaurant. So anyway, the ambiance sucked from the get go I wanted to leave. But my partner wanted to give it a try. That's when we overheard the convo. If you want good weekend brunchy type of food, you'd need to stay away from here. They are overpriced and they deliver babies as good as Planned Parenthood. (ya know, cause Planned Parenthood is an abortion clinic.. Under deliver). Same food options, better prices.. Try SUGAR SHACK, HB. ** diner type great food Next tier up.. Try Zimzala - Joie de Vivre, HB ** don't let the name fool you, they aren't expensive but you get GREAT food and service.. Another tier up.. Try Nick's on 2nd or Laguna Beach ** EPIC, it will be a few bucks more. Few worth it. Worth the drive and everything. Ambiance is definitely a hip and relaxing atmosphere.

Good breakfast at a good price. They open early, only 2 downfalls is there is usually a wait due to their limited dinig space, and they took away their breakfast potatoes which I loved, only hashbrowns now. But the breakfast is done right with large servings. Have to try their pancakes.

We just had breakfast there for the first time. Considering the menu prices in the area, I wasn't expecting much. More, I was a bit annoyed for the long wait. Wow, what a pleasant surprise!! They definitely had taken their time to prepare their food. The presentation was gorgeous and it tastes even better. Can't say enough about this place. Great value! Highly recommended!!

A short wait for Sunday brunch, but that was expected. Sat at the Bar top counters. Flat screens with Sunday football on was a plus. Ordered their chicken and waffles w a twist was exceptional!! Loved the cheddar, Jalapeño & bacon stuffed waffles. *drools*. Left super full & happy.

well its my first time here & I don't write many reviews for most places I go to cause there's already plenty for those places but this place has a good atmosphere paired with good food & good service. My girlfriends plate looked & smell great. Chicken & waffles with a twist... Yumm but I got a regular typical breakfast plate with 3 eggs, toast, potatoes, sausage & pancakes. The sausages were a little under cooked & hopefully I dont get food poisoning from it. So that's why my review is only 3 cause I'm not so sure of food & service just yet until I come back a few more times & try other delicious items on the menu. Everybody should try this place & try different things on the menu & dont't be typical like me getting a regular breakfast plate.

My mother-in-law likes this place so we went as a family for lunch. it is small and has very little seating, so if it is busy you will have to wait awhile. The staff is friendly and helps you with anything you need. The food is just okay. I have eaten here 3 times with my mother in law and each time I try something different to see if they have that one thing that I would come back for over and over again. Sadly that hasn't happened. I tried the meatloaf it was just ok, the burger was okay, the breakfast burrito was big, but nothing special. Don't get me wrong the food is good to eat just not spectacular.

I really like this place. I was introduced by my gym buddies. You can get really good food and portions for a decent price. I typically get an omelette (Meat lovers is really tasty) and sweet potato fries. There's usually a short to moderate wait since the place seems to be popular, but one of the best non commercial breakfast/brunch places I have gone to.

Green street is a good place! It's a great place to have a good quality breakfast which has good ingredients. The coffe is also great!! My husband and I try to eat healthy; therefore , the best healthy option for US is the veggy omelette with feta cheese and well done ...

My first time here. I'm so impressed with this place. The food is awesome. You must try. Warning...if you try, you will be hooked. The price is reasonable, and the portions are hearty. The only downside is they are open until 2pm. But one of the girls tell me they will open for dinner beginning Valentines Day.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. Everyone that we know loves it and we live across the street. So on Mothers Day we tried it. I ordered the Eggs Huntington. a HEALTHIER version of Eggs Benedict. It was delicious. I really wanted the Monte Cristo, which was a childhood favorite of mine, but decided to save that for a day I have more calories to spare. Daughters had make your own omelet with onion, bacon, spinach and chocolate chip pancakes. They loved their food and hubby had BLTA.. which he was happy with too. The service was excellent, friendly, and fast. I think we may have a new favorite breakfast/lunch spot. Its one of those places that has so much on menu I will need to try something different for at least the next 10visits..I love this place and highly recommend it!!

this place is great! The Chicken and waffles is a nice combo of sweet, spicy and savory. And the biscuits are so fluffy and doughy. I don't know what happened to Marty B. I'm pretty sure they don't serve chips and guacamole for one, They also haven't been open for many moons. Don't let this guys review give you second thoughts about trying this place out.

This place was pretty good. The service wasn't the best. It took forever to get a lot of things. I ordered the Crab Benedict, my friend ordered scrambled eggs and lil man got pancakes. The food was good but it was a TON of food. I know it my be silly thing to complain about, but Eggs Benedict don't make for good leftovers. The potatoes were a little plan. It took forever to get the check. I felt like our waitress was annoyed with my son and that's the kiss of death for me.

Came here while on vacation in Huntington. Didn't know a lot about it. We just stopped in while driving around. This was a pleasant surprise. The food tastes fresh & homemade. The veggie omelet was light, fluffy, and filling. Service was friendly. Prices are just right - $22 for two people and we left satisfied. Give this place a go!

I've had breakfast and lunch here. There are some great looking plates coming out of the kitchen... but also some very average items coming out too. Lunch offers you the most unique choices. Kitchen quality may depend on daily staffing. Keep an eye on that. Even with a 3 star rating, I'd say to give it a try if you're in the area.

As in another review I read, I do not understand the excitement about this place. The service was good, the presentation of the food was very good & the amounts were generous. I want to know about how it gets away with leaving out the taste of the food. The chicken & waffles needed salt, for it was very flat tasting. My corned beef and hash, of which if l use as a baseline for every place serving breakfast, was served lukewarm and also needed some serious seasoning, besides being soft, the pieces of diced corned beef seemed to be just heated up with the potato cubes. I was expecting a crispy texture on the hash. This was only the first time we had tried the place. It was the labor day weekend, so I will give this place another try, for the effort of putting a gluten free option on the menu for pancake lovers.

I was initially quite excited to come here. I mean, brunch on a Sunday out on a cute, little patio sounded great! It started out pretty well. We got seated quickly despite the line out the door, so that was nice. Once we sat down, it took us 15 mins to get our water, and another 20 mins to get our food. At the point, I was starving and ready to be impressed with everything.... Unfortunately, I left underwhelmed. What we ordered: Cajun eggs Benedict with crab cake - so little spinach and hollandaise sauce. In fact, the sauce ended up stuck to my plate. I had to scrape for awhile to try and get some on my eggs. Green Street Cafe potatoes were ok, nothing special.. Umm, what is happening to brunch?! Burgers - decent enough, a little overpriced and the meat was dry, mehhh. Side of Bacon - decently crunchy but again, overpriced. Teeny, tiny strips. Conclusion: I won't be back.

What a great little place in HB!! I had a DELICIOUS 3-egg white veggie omelette with the fresh fruit cup (honeydew, cantaloupe, strawberries). My daughter and friend shared the 3 egg/2 pancakes/2 sausage special that came with a choice of white, sourdough, whole wheat or biscuit. Both meals came with a choice of 2 types of potatoes, fresh fruit cup, sauteed spinach or cottage cheese. Very reasonable ($22). They are open from 7 to 4 daily. It's not a big place (8 tables) so it's best to arrive early on weekends. There is a lovely patio (with 8 tables) in the shade if you like. You can also sit at the counter. The service was great although we had to wait a bit for our food. I would definitely return for breakfast, lunch or just dessert another time.

Had the eggs Benedict and the 3 eggs with sausage with the hubby. Service was quick. The eggs Benedict was good. It needed more hollandaise sauce. And 3 eggs dish was just ok. Cute little spot. Great price for the food.

Came here to try the gluten free pancakes and I must say they are the best gluten free pancakes I've ever had! Order a half order unless you have a giant sized appetite you won't be able to eat the giant full sized portion! My daughter had the gluten free waffles and was also very pleased. Great service, very clean establishment.

Crowded little cafe with slow service. However the food I felt was bland. I had the Cajun Benedict nothing special about it I would say. My wife had the corn beef she thought it was extra fatty. The portions are huge. The kids had their typical breakfast eggs pancakes waffles French toast sausage. Can't really go wrong with the typical American breakfast. Would I return to this cafe? I dunno probably.

"Compliments to the chef" never applied more! And the wait staff! French fries: cooked perfectly. Sourdough toast, PERFECTLY buttered and lightly toasted ( ever had sourdough toast rip up the roof of your mouth? I have). We forgot to check help beforehand, but Boy are they right- the corned beef hash is wonderful!! Clean, very nice decor, comfortable, cozy, fire towers for outdoor seating, great prices... Will return over and over, and will totally Recommend GREEN STREET CAFE HIGHLY to anyone asking.

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I was disappointed. I've had breakfast here twice and lunch here twice before writing this review... Let me start off by saying the service was good... This review is just about the food. Breakfast - Eggs Benedict was flavorless and tiny... Chocolate chip waffle, flavorless cardboard. Lunch - Pastrami sandwich was greasy... The bread soaked up the grease, making it soggy and impossible to eat. French fries were nothing worth mentioning. The burgers are decent... Not amazing, but good. I really don't understand the massive line, or the over-the-top reviews... But, these were my experiences... And I don't see a reason to go back anytime soon.

I live right down the street so I've come here every so often for breakfast. All of their food is good, customer service is decent. They just do not know how to cook their breakfast potatoes. I like my potatoes well done. It's one of my favorite sides to my breakfast. Went there ordered my breakfast out came undercooked green st potatoes looking undercooked and gross. I didn't take a bite, they gave me coffee for free to make Up for it. I give them 4 stars. The cooks just need to learn how to cook the potatoes for longer when a customer asks for it. That's all.

There's definitely some entertainment value here. For a great time, sit at the bar and listen to these grown adult servers gossiping about all the guests as if they never left high school. I'm speaking specifically to all the seemingly stuck up and spoiled staff that worked the brunch shift on New Years Day 2014. I can't speak for the other servers we didn't encounter. If you want to give your hard earned money to a place where some of the servers don't have the slightest appreciation for your business, then this is the place for you. I get the feeling that they might spit in your food or something if you rub them the wrong way. For you employees there, the least you can do is talk s%*t in the back where we can't hear you. That was seriously such a terrible experience, I can hardly believe it. Instead of trying to enjoy my food, I caught myself fantasizing about what I was going to do to cause a major scene in there to let all the guests know what was being said about them. Thanks to Green Street Cafe, a place that inspired me to actually start a Yelp account. I'm right there with Robert V. in the beginning of his review. You guys suck. Later!!! I can't wait to crap out the food I ate from there.

LOVE this place! Never had any bad experiences here. Once you sit down & see what other people are ordering, it's obvious that the chicken & waffles & the country fried steak are what everyone comes here for. No matter what you order, the portions are HUGE, almost ridiculously so, & generously priced! You'll have leftovers for sure! Today I got the homemade meatloaf served with crispy onion strings, & mashed potatoes with their famous gravy - DELICIOUS. Also, I ordered a "side salad" for $2.50 & was shocked when it arrived & was the size of a large dinner salad! Topped with feta, large chunks of tomato & cucumber, & potatoes! They make a damn good pancake too. The servers are great - very friendly, accommodating, accurate. Never have finished a drink before they are coming around to give us refills, be it water, coffee, mimosas, etc.. I'm not a fan of Bloody Mary's but my friends order them here. Just like everything else they're HUGE! Definitely check this place out!

Have eaten here several times and each time it keeps getting better and better! the egg dishes are yummy - I asked for a scramble instead of an omlette and they were very accommodating. the onion rings are crispy and well seasoned. portions are huge so there is enough for two meals. a couple of days ago my friend and I had lunch there and were served by JANICE. what a great smile - gracious personality - and efficient server. service can really make or break a place, and she made the whole experience really relaxing and wonderful! one downside to the place tho is that it is NOT open for dinner - hope it expands its hours sometime soon!

Best breakfast I have had in a long time! The menu is large and they have some fun things to eat. Its like caual gourmet and the prices are reasonable. The portions are huge too! You get along of bang for your buck. I went for the very first time on Sunday morning with a group of 10. The place is quite small but nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well. We got there at 9AM and at that time the crowd growing. By the time we left there was a long wait, which I am sure it worth it. But defintily go early if you want breakfast.

This place is *not* a safe gluten free restaurant. They offer gluten free options, but their waffle iron is the same as what the use for normal waffles too. I am coeliac and got sick from eating even before we had left the restaurant.

Cute little spot in Huntinton Beach, good classic foods and friendly staff. Hubby and I went here one morning after our graveyard shift, I got the chicken and waffles and I forgot what he got haha but I know we both enjoyed our meal and will be coming back to try more. We came early so there wasn't a crowd yet but as we were leaving more people were walking in.

The worst customer service ever! We called over the phone to make sure they allow dogs. They told us that it was fine as long as we have our dog in the patio. When we got there, they say us outside in the patio. But then the waiter told us that our dog needed to be outside the patio. Wtf?!? False information does not help. The people behind us had a dog too. We were so upset that we walked out. The waiter gave us an attitude about it. I would never come back to this place. They don't know how to train their employees. There's lack of customer service.

I recently had Green Street Cafe cater a small party. I worked with Kirstin, the head of catering. I was so impressed with the overall service, the ease of working with them that I would highly recommend them! The prices are also very reasonable. I got twice as much food for about half as much compared to another bid I received from a separate caterer. Green Street also took care of renting for me dinner plates, silverware, water glasses and heat lamps through Dolphin Catering at no extra charge, arranged the drop off and pick up. Everyone came minutes earlier than scheduled. When they inadvertently left behind the smashed chipotle potatoes from our order, they called back within 30 minutes, and delivered them piping hot with two loaves of complementary zucchini bread "for my trouble." They are highly professional and worth every penny!

This place is seriously incredible. I am so happy to finally have brunch here. There was a 15 minute wait but its Sunday so it was expected. Service was super! Our server was really nice and efficient, he never told his name though so I can't put him on blast here. I had the Cajun Benedict and my friend had huevos ranchers... best benedict ever! Definitely coming back soon.

Services was slow, my wife and I were one of two couples dining. I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger and so did my wife, except I ordered fries and she ordered onion rings. The BBQ sauce was too sweet, the croissant bun was also sweet and the fries tasted like old grease. My wife's onion rings were good, we also finished half our meal without a drink because our sever was not attentive. Next time, we will just focus on the breakfast. My rating is due to the lack of service, unusual BBQ bacon cheeseburger and old (double fried) fries.

Came in the other day for the first time with a friend for brunch. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and The East Coaster. They were both just meh. I think I could have made a better version of the breakfast sandwich and The East Coaster would have been so much better if they had used a fresh bagel. They both came with potatoes which were extremely bland. I had to lather them in hot sauce. It's possible we just ordered the wrong things and they have better options for lunch and dinner. I'd be happy to give the place another chance but unfortunately I did not have a great first impression of the food. Our waitress was great though, and frequently checked up on us to see how we were doing. Good services is hard to come by these days.

Extensive menu. Decided on a custom sandwich. It was perfect. One of those time where I'm enjoying eating so much I don't realize the whole sandwich is gone till it is.

Of course my friend listed below would beat me to reviewing Green St. Cafe! I had wanted to try this joint for quite awhile so my friend and I finally decided to give it a try. My country steak, or country breakfast (I can't remember) was ginormous. I mean... I didn't even know where to start! The fried steak was smothered in gravy, I had a side of 3 eggs, potatoes and biscuits with gravy. My goodness, it was pretty amazing but overwhelming just to look at. I want to try everything on their menu. I highly recommend Green St. Cafe!

Very good little cafe. They have boysenberry jam available, which is always fun! For their chicken & waffles, very yummy cheddar and bacon waffle and the chicken was very crisp. (Comes with jalapenos in the waffles, which I asked for on the side. Also comes with gravy, which I had on the side.) Preferred the maple syrup on it but the gravy was good. Kinda pricey but not bad for the portions you get. Excited to come back and try the smores French toast!

Love this place! Very casual with both outdoor and indoor seating. It's the perfect place for brunch on the weekend. My favorite thing to order is their chocolate chip pancakes. They are absolutely heavenly...and huge! Can't wait to visit this restaurant again!

Luke warm coffee, paid 1$ extra for sausage in my omelet & it came with 5 sausage crumbs that were so tiny I'm still not sure it was sausage, chicken & waffles dish was flavorless...overall disappointing.

  • Jeff Y.

chicken n waffles is legit. You can get it w/ pineapples instead of bacon and its even better. omg. the chicken was cooked perfectly and the waffles had jalapenos baked in. wtf. who even thinks of that. it made the dish. seriously. also had the elvis pbj french toast - if you're a pbj fan and like bananas, this is delish everything is fresh and service is great. the wait sucks. maybe i shouldnt leave a review cuz too many people will come here now. well just keep it to yourself =P i cant wait to try more stuff there.

This is just a fantastic place for breakfast or lunch. If you go for breakfast, the chicken and waffles is a must! It sounds odd, but the combination is fantastic. I recommend adding an over easy egg and some cheddar cheese on it to complete perfection. They also serve beer and champagne, so get a mimosa with your breakfast. The wait staff is, for the most part, great. Some servers just don't make the grade sometimes, which is why I couldn't pull the trigger to give 5 stars, but don't let that stop you from going! They also have a good lunch menu with sandwiches that are quite filling. The place is usually busy so you can expect a 10-15 minute wait. There is also outdoor seating which is always a plus in my book. I highly recommend trying them out, you will enjoy it!

This is an excellent place to eat at. Very low-key environment, friendly service, and great food at I had the meat lovers omelette I believe it was called. It had chorizo, bacon and, ham along with a side of fresh fruit and it was awesome. It was filling and very tasty. I will have it again should I be in the area. I also had the s'mores French toast! OMG!! That was out of this world delicious. There was chocolate and marshmallows smushed inside. It just fell off the plate, it was just unbelievable. Me and my friend sat there stunned as we ate it and out of the corner of our eye we saw as the waitresses watched us look at the food in awe as they giggled amongst themselves. LOL. Their menu has a plethora of items for anyone to enjoy no matter if you're vegetarian or a meat lover, there's something on the menu for everybody.

My new favorite place! Super cute, not very big space with big long bar with multiple TVs. They have nice patio in front. I had gyro and it was fantastic. I didn't like the lamb meat in it, looked like it came from a frozen section and just wormed up. Next time will choose steak or chicken. But great place tasted very good like the atmosphere of a European cafe.

My daughter and I are suckers for great breakfast joints. I've lived in HB for 20 years and we found this place by accident when our first choice place had too long a line. We yelped breakfast nearby and ended up here. My daughter had the PB&J with bananas gluten free pancakes (waffles were available in gluten free option too). To die for. The pancakes were really light and fluffy and the bananas were mashed and placed in layers between the pancakes and were hot and soft on top. I had the huevos rancheros and hubby had an omelet. Everything was yummy, piping hot and much to my surprised I learned it was affiliated with Buno Gusto which we have been going to for years now. Yanni was our waiter and he was friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly. It's not that big so be prepared for a wait on the weekends. They have a patio out front with heaters but we ate indoors. Oh and the coffee was really good too.

Service: Service is really good, almost as good as the food! The hostess with half red, half black hair is rad as heck and you should tip her a lot! Food: Chicken and Waffles were dank and so good! Very rich, but so good! Fish and Chips: Very light and crispy. Super yummy. Definitely returning soon! Especially because the hostess with half red, half black hair is such a sweetheart!

Good, quality food!! Everything they make there is delicious and fresh. I hate breakfast restaurants that just have the typical items... Breakfast isn't a hard meal to make at home so if I am going out I want something I couldn't just have at home. Green Street fulfills my need for a yummy breakfast that isn't just the basics. Sure they have the basics but they have dishes for those feeling a bit more adventurous too! Everyone is happy!! I also love that they will make my eggs benedict just the way I like it even though it's not on the menu when the craving hits (turkey instead of ham and add avocado.) I personally have never had their lunch but one day when I ordered breakfast my husband ordered a burger and said it was delish. I highly recommend this restaurant but beware they get VERY crowded on the weekend as word has gotten out about what a great breakfast they serve!

Took over the spot for Good Day Cafe. The whole inside of the place has been redone and it is beautiful! Outside seating is still available. Right now they are open until 2:00 (breakfast and lunch), but are hoping to open for dinner in a few months. Amongst our group we had breakfast and lunch items. I had a Denver omelet with potatoes. Yummy, but the omelet was a little watery. Please take note that it did not keep me from almost finishing it off! Friends got the build your own burger and were very pleased with the results (chicken and veggie options for the burgers). The menu has tons of options that are sure to please just about anyone. Service was good and super friendly, and I like that they didn't hover. My only negative was the water. HB tap water is notoriously horrible, and I would suggest some type of filter to make that more palatable (I use a Brita filter for my water BTW, and it works great!). I will definitely be back to try some more of their yumminess.

Such a good find! My wife's parents just moved nearby and we wanted to find a good breakfast spot. Thank you once again Yelp. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and the food was everything you want in a good breakfast. I got the corned beef hash. The corned beef was amazing and the potatoes were tasty as well. Add a couple of fried eggs on top and I was in heaven. Great neighborhood spot.

Came here with my coworkers for my birthday lunch per a suggestion of on of our patients since we all work right down the street. WOW!! every single on of us at the table was overwhelmingly happy with our food choice and could not wait till the next time we made a trip down there. I build my own burger and honestly it was perfection. It was alittle messy but I pretty much built it that way so I cant blame them. My doctor got some breakfast omelet and every single bit was cleared off her plate (she can eat a lot but DANG). My other coworker got chocolate chip pancakes and I am usually not a fan of them but the moment the waitress set them on the table I had this overwhelming need to try them! I was not disappointed. there were the perfect amount of sweet and warm gooieness weve been back a few times for to go orders because it was really busy and our lunch breaks only last so long. I recommend it to our patients now when they are looking for something to eat after they leave our office.

Great food, great service! The $5 breakfast burritos are great! The portions are pretty big too. I loved the tortilla soup I tried today. It was a bummer when we lost good day cafe but so happy that an even better place has taken its spot.

This is another great success from the owners of Buon gusto (two doors down from this place!) Whichever place you choose to eat at, you're going to leave happy, satisfied, and with change in your pocket! Great food, affordable, and great service! Couldn't ask for anything more!

Cute place with a nice patio, enjoyed the Huntington Benedict...great alternative for a former meat eater who misses her Eggs Benedict... Portabello mushroom, sauteed spinach, tomato, poached eggs and sauce with the smashed potatoes and decent coffee. They have hot sauce at the table for a little extra spice. Friendly service and convenient spot around the corner. Nice breakfast alternative:) Just wish they allowed dogs on the patio.

i am a little conflicted on how to review this place because my dish was awesome, but my girlfriend's dish was a huge disappointment. went here on a sunday around 12, and the wait was about 30 mins. i had the fried chicken and waffles w/ the gravy sauce on the side. the portion was generous, and the bacon/jalapeno waffle was good. this dish was awesome, and i probably would order it again. now to the bad... my girlfriend had the country breakfast (country fried steak + eggs), and it was a huge let down. the batter was crispy and good, but the meat patty was horrible! it was extremely chewy, rubber-y, and difficult to cut through. it definitely left a bad taste in our mouth.

Want chicken and waffles?! This is the place to go! This place not only has a great patio to enjoy your food selection but it has the best chicken and waffles I've ever had! Real fried chicken with gravy and a waffle with bacon, jalapeños, and cheese baked right in! The first time I went I got the Huevos Ranchero and it was just okay, the ranchero sauce needed more of a kicked. But hands down this place gets 5 stars for the chicken and waffles! It will make a believer out of you, I promise!

Tried this place for the first time since the change of ownership, and man have I been missing out! Had their breakfast sandwich and the eggs and bacon were perfectly cooked. The avocado in there was fresh and the veges were crisp. The side freshly made home potatoes with diced green and white onions was a great addition. To top it off, our waiter, Juan, was awesome. Keep up the great work guys and will be in soon!

The best hamburger!! Had a shrimp salad which was delicious. The breakfast was OK, nothing special. I LOVE their burgers!! Always cooked as I like, and I am one that looks for consistency in any restaurant. I gave them a 5 for that!! Good fresh food. Love it!!

Since the closing of Good day cafe, because the owner evaporated to nothing, do to her drug addiction and burned her staff. The Green St. Cafe has come to the rescue. The new owner has come in and revamped the interior and patio. The menu is new and food is high quality. The staff is nice and efficient. The prices are decent. Hopefully this place wont get HB itis and crash and burn like so many other restaurants in this town... Check it out if your in town... Bob E.

I am only giving them the one star because the food we had was good. Other than that, we were pretty shocked at the customer service and lack of professionalism. We found this place on yelp and despite a bad review i read about the servers, we wanted to try this place out. It was busy when we got there, and the only table available was the small table in the middle of the dining room. We sat down and ordered. A couple seats became available at the bar, so we asked if we can switch since we dont like sitting in the middle where everybody is walking around us. Our server seemed like she didnt like it that we wanted to switch, mumbled okay under her breath, no eye contact. We got our food and it was good. However while we were TRYING to enjoy our food, we discovered that either there is no management happening here or its okay for the all the servers to shit talk about the customers. The little asian girl with black and red hair was pretty amazing: saying how she was SOOO surprised this one table "tipped me anything" and "happy new years to me", complaining about how another table wanted to split their bills and how annoying that is...just to list a few. and its not like she was discreet about it too, we clearly heard every word that came out of her damn mouth. She was fine with the guests but right when she walks away, its a total 180. We also witnessed another server talk bad about another customer that had just left. They also loved huddling in little groups and talking about how horrible their tables are. I asked myself how do these ungrateful people have jobs? I dare anyone to sit at the bar if you ever decide to visit this place. I wouldnt be surprised that they said something bad about us after we left. Not sorry to say, this place blows and we arent coming back.....like they give a damn.

It was okay. Heard great things, so I decided to try it out. Well- the breakfast menu looked good with plenty to choose from. Went with the eggs benedict- I like when my food is hot- (I'll let it cool if needed) When it arrived, it wasn't even warm. Got a few egg shells in it too (not good for the teeth). My son, got the Greek Omelet- now he's a eater when hungry and he did a big reject after a few bites. Good thing he got pancakes on the side. He really liked the pancakes and my daughter liked her french toast. The servicer was really nice, so I might try this place again and hope for better next time.

Hubby was looking for a pancake or waffle combo (w/eggs & meat). Not on their menu without ordering sides. My son ordered the country breakfast which came on a HUGE platter and a chicken fried steak the side of your head. Big is not always better. He said the meat had little flavor and the fried part was greasy. I built my own omelet w/ egg substitute which was nothing special. I did appreciate the choice of sauteed spinach as a side. Thought it was strange there was only 1 piece of toast, most places give you 2. Service was OK, they kept the coffee coming, can't say the same about the ice tea and it seemed to take a long time to get our check and then our change. We LOVE Buon Gusto, this does not compare. For breakfast, go down the street to Cup Cafe, instead.

I came here for brunch with my sister and her friend. My sister and I both ordered the Huntington Benedict, which consisted of poached eggs on top of tomatoes, spinach, and a portobello mushroom. I got mine with cottage cheese and she got hers with fruit. I thought the poached eggs on top of the portobello mushroom together was okay. The texture together wasn't ideal but overall everything was prepared well. Our friend got regular poached eggs with potatoes and a side of buttermilk pancakes. I had a try of the pancakes and they were amazing. Yum! I also ordered a hot chocolate along with my food and it was delicious. Definitely worth getting. Our total for 3 egg benedicts, a side of pancakes and two hot drinks was $38 (without tip). Not bad. The waitress was very nice. Our food took awhile but we didn't mind since we were talking. The inside is pretty small but they have a full bar with beers on tap. They also had a nice outdoor patio seating but will filled. We would have preferred it outside. We went on a Thursday at 10am. There was no wait but it was pretty much filled. Overall, we had a good experience and would probably come back.

My chicken and waffles was delicious. The waffle has jalapeno bits in it which make it have quite the kick. I loved how it tasted with the sweetness from the maple syrup. The chicken was cooked perfectly- still crispy and hot by the time it came out. I used the syrup sparingly because things really did taste good on it's own. I also shared the Eastern benedict which is made of lox, onions, etc. This tasted fresh and not as heavy as the chicken and waffles. The egg oozed once my fork pierced into it. Service was quick! I think they forgot my side order of eggs at which I had to remind them but all in all, I was very pleased with the value and quality of the food here. Portions really are huge so either share or prepare to ask for a to go box! I would definitely come back for a splurge brunch!

Had a hankering for country fried steak but saw chicken and waffles on the menu and got sold. The chicken was nicely battered and SEASONED!!! 5 stars for the alone. But bacon in the waffle batter, what?? You cannot go wrong with bacon. Th chicken was juicy and not dry. The waffle had a slight crunch if you eat right away because it was layered below the chicken which glazed with the gravy and drizzled grill-marked with honey. The dish was huge and can easily be shared if you are looking for a light breakfast. The gravy was very good and tasty. The waitress was super friendly. Overall, very nice dining experience.

Had a craving for breakfast and had to be at work by 12. Called up a friend and he suggested Green Street Cafe. I said sure thing and told him to meet me there at 10. I got there and put my name on the list. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait. It seemed like less and before you know it we were promptly Sat at the bar. Upon looking at the menu I was faced with the most difficult decision of my life... What to get. Everything sounded so good from the chicken and waffles to the smores French toast. I settled for something safe and ordered eggs Benedict with the green street potatoes. The friend ordered the veggie omelet with hashbrowns. My meal was delicious, my eggs poached perfectly, and before I knew it my plate was scraped clean. My friend had no qualms about his veggie omelet and seemed to devour his plate as well. The service was good and attentive, not sure if it's cause we Sat at the bar... But whatever the case I was happy and I am proud to announce I even made it to work on time. I'll definitely be back to try the other menu items. Especially the chicken and waffles... It seems to almost haunt me that I didn't end up getting that.

Love supporting local business!! A friend took me here today and I have to say.....quite the scrumptious menagerie of food! Wasn't sure what to expect but my fears were quickly abated. One taste of the food and you'll be coming back for more! I ended up ordering the Cajun Benedict and my friend got the Monte Cristo. Both hit the spot.....man if only had more stomachs to inhale it all ha. I could have eaten the benedict all week. Anyhoo give this place a go.....right next to Buon Gusto too!

Food was good, not great. Had the Elvis. They didn't over do it with the sweets which was great, but it barely had any pb on it. Kind of wish there was more... Service was great as well. Will return..

Really great service with a pretty short wait. Ordered a peanut butter shake and a custom burrito with feta cheese - incredible! Offer inside and outside seating with heat lamps. The menu offers many breakfast favorites, even some Greek and Mexican. Many things you can customize and extend for a small price. Good mimosas too, according to my girls!

I found this to be a nice neighborhood spot. It is very casual with good service. I was a little unimpressed with the cleanliness. My glass of water had what looked like pepper floating in the bottom, there were a few flys around, and the table cloths seemed a little ragged. Besides that, we enjoyed our breakfast. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. The waffle had jalapeños and cheddar mixed into the batter and the chicken remained moist. My mom had the Eggs Huntington. This is essentially a benedict but on a Portobello mushroom instead of an English muffin. She asked for an English muffin to be added under the mushroom, and it was topped with spinach, tomato and avocado in addition to the usual benedict fixings. We both enjoyed our meal but agreed that we have had better. Their sweet breakfasts such as the Elvis French Toast and Chocolate Chip Pancakes seem like the way to go if I return for brunch.

I LOVE BRUNCH. But who doesn't? This place is a hidden gem! I wanted brunch and mimosas to drink my sorrows away after the Warriors lost to the Clippers in playoffs so I searched mimosa brunch and this place popped up. Got there around noon on a Sunday, aka prime time for brunch on a weekend, and there was no wait at all! Actually, there was a lot of tables open with a patio area to enjoy the great weather. There are several tav inside and what seems to be a bar with a few beers on tap. Awesome! I got the s'mores french toast with a few mimosas and boy, that first bite made me want to come back here again and again. It was all I wanted in a s'mores french toast and more. Nutella, melted marshmallows, and bits of graham cracker. My gawd. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Also, my bacon came out crispy! Just the way I like it :) There's a lot more on the menu and I will mos def be coming back for more.

I saw the pic of the chicken fried steak Chris D. posted, and I read his 5 Star review. I also saw my pal Katrina N.'s 5 Star review, and I said: "Where the hell have I been?". I freakin live in HB, and I never heard of this place. Green Street Cafe in on Warner just west of Bolsa in HB. I had to order the CFS (Country Breakfast), that comes w/ 3 eggs, hash browns and your choice of toast. I chose biscuits & gravy for the latter. The CFS brok da f*cking mout!!! It was the best version I have had outside of TX. The portion was massive and the gravy was perfect (lumpy & w/ a lot of crumbled sausage). The only recommendation I have is to use better biscuits. These biscuits were just OK. The service was excellent. Dora was super nice, gave me extra gravy upon request, and provided me more napkins w/o asking: 5 Stars. The ambiance is very quaint. There are a half dozen or so tables outside, more on the inside and a counter you can watch 3 flatscreens from. The only downside to the ambiance, is the restroom is not adjacent and is shared with the rest of the building. The restroom also smelled: 4 Stars. Green Street's CFS blows away the others I have had in the area (Pollys, Woodys, and Breadcrumb Ohana), I have a new breakfast place in town for when I want to geev um (go for it), and have a "real" meal!

Food had been consistent and they have a great staff. They are on top of service. I've been here with family and friends for breakfast. Only suggestion is to arrive early to secure outdoor seating. It's a popular spot and you'll see why. Very chill and laid back.

First and foremost, allow me to be the first person to tell you that this particular restaurant is actually so delectably deliciously decadent double the fun when you're with someone that it's hard to put into words... I'll just say this. This place is so good it'll make you wanna slap yo mama child! Ooo lord mercy. Mmmmm mmmmm good! I had such a great time eating the food that I didn't even take a picture. Why would I? That's would be wasting precious food shoveling to my mouth time! I did however take a picture on my second visit. And needless to say I am eagerly waiting for my third visit. Two thumbs and toes Up for this place!

Green Street Cafe has made me Green w Envy! 1. The food was Excellente! 2. Staff was attentive 3. Price is pretty darn swell I got the: Cajun Crab Bene 4.0 Stars! The crab bene came out crispy and golden. Plenty of crabs, plenty of flavors, and definitely one of the better one's I've had. The poached eggs were done perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was perfect on a bed of spinach. Lover got Chix and jalapeno/bacon cheddar cheese Waffles 4.5 stars!! yum! Holy cow these were delish. Fried chix had a nice crispy coating and the chix itself was moist and not at all dry like I'd thought it would be. The fried chix was perfectly seasoned and holds up well by itself. However, the combination of the waffles and bacon gravy was over the top perfection. The waffles were crispy, but yet had a soft and chewy center and with every bite I took, I bit into bacon. yummmmmm....... In face, I loved it so much I asked our waiter if I can have the waffles a la carte and took it togo. Our waiter was awesome, super friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond for us. He even threw in the bacon gravy free of charge; and he was very generous. I wish this place was closer so I can come back every week for the waffles. Can't wait to try the other dishes.

Date day at the beach and decided to try something new. A little hard to find as they don't have a sign up but after finding them on my GPS we found them. I had their chicken & waffles and my hubby had the chicken fried steak. Man the portions are huge so bring your appetite! The chicken and waffles were excellent. The waffles have bacon, cheddar, and jalapeños then they top it with a chicken breast gravy and syrup. Delicious! I would only change the cheese, the cheddar gets lost in those rich flavor a and falls flat I would switch it to a jack. My husband couldn't finish everything they brought him with the country fried steak but all in all I recommend giving them a try.

Great casual breakfast spot. We have frequented this cafe many times. Service is friendly. Lots of menu offerings to appeal to everyone. Be prepared to wait or come early, as they get busy on weekends. Pancakes, breakfast sandwich and eggs benedict are delicious!

I came here on the weekend with my boyfriend and was really hoping to love this place... but it was a huge disappointment. We were seated quickly inside. The place was small and cute, something you would expect a cafe to be. Food: -3 stars So based on the reviews on yelp, I decided to go with the chicken and waffles with a twist. My bf had the fish tacos. When the chicken and waffle came out , it looked so appetizing and I was so excited to dig in and see what the commotion was about. Well when I did dig in, the first bite was a huge disappointment. It wasn't what I expected it to be.. the waffle was so soft and had jalopenos inside. The chicken wasn't really flavorful. I ended up having a couple bites and trading with my bf.. The fish tacos were okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Service: + 1 star Our waitress was really polite and patient as we decided what to get. Overall I probably won't come back since their most popular item wasn't my taste.. maybe its bc we chose the wrong items. The first Impression didn't leave a lasting one

I arrived an hour before closing time on a weekday so I didn't have to wait to be seated. The waitress provided great service and was very friendly! I had the buttermilk pancakes with a side of sausage. The pancakes were delicious!! They were the perfect consistency, fluffy and tasty! I will definitely be coming back for more!

Wahhhh such a disappointment .. Maybe it was just what I had? But I will return again , and if it doesn't change . I won't need to update this review lol First off! Servers... So many of them! Kinda confusing who your server is but our server is super friendly . Kinda too friendly. She creeped me out at one point lol! Oh well kudos to you for being hyped up for a breakfast spot.. You go girl! Onward to the food, I always rely on yelp to pick my food for me cause I'm too lazy to pick it for myself! So after reading the reviews I decided to get the eggs HB .. Sheesh. I should have read more about it.. This is the healthiest thing I ever ate.. I do not like healthy food! Kinda sad about it . It was the poached eggs on top of a slice of tomato , avocado , and portobello mushroom ... Wthell! Lol mushroom grossed me out , I should have read it! But hey, if you're a health nut . Perfect for you.

Awesome place to get brunch! The portions are generous and the prices very reasonable! If you like fluffy and moist pancakes, then this is your place! I've never had pancakes quite this good!! I normally get an omelet with fruit on the side, which comes your choice of toast or biscuits. I am always super satisfied with this choice and it's a huge omelet!! I decided to be adventurous one day and try their chicken and waffles, and I'm sure glad I did. It's delicious and if I could smother all my food in that gravy they pour on top, you bet I would!! It was the most soothing food coma I have ever had.

  • S D.

I don't know what the hype is. OTHER THAN THE CAJUN CRAB CAKES BENEDICT... THOSE WERE "RUB THEM ALL OVER YOUR BODY" DELICIOUS. They only give you one piece of toast as a side whereas everywhere else gives you two The huevos rancheros was shit. I got poached eggs and no tortillas which was probably a huge mistake on my part. The service is slow but very nice servers. The green potatoes are gross and not cooked long enough to form a tasty crisp. I would be back just for crab cakes... Probably a pick up order... Take those babies home

Very comfortable vibe. Reminds me of some breakfast spots I used to frequent in the northeast. Friendly staff. I had the Eggs Benedict. Loved the presentation. The sprinkled Cajun spice set the tone. I gave it a four because I like my hashbrowns to have a bit more depth. I know it's not fair, because they were cooked very well. I decided to stay for something sweet. I had a side order of the chocolate chip pancakes. A solid effort, not the best I ever had, but very good. I will definitely come back for round 2 to try an omelette.

Came here for brunch this weekend and first look at the place it wasn't what I expected. Thought it looked kind of shabby on the outside...but the inside was okay - it was pretty small - the had a bar seating and the rest were tables that were situated kind of close together. The patio area was more spacious and have two big heaters for cold days. The service was pretty nice - it was semi-busy but our waiter checked on us quite a few times. The food was okay - I ordered the breakfast plate with three eggs, sausage, sauteed spinach and wheat toast and also Belgian Waffle. Everything was pretty plain - the sausage was not salty or greasy, the eggs and sauteed spinach was pretty plain and the waffle was not as crispy as I hoped it would be - it was actually kind of too soft. It's definitely very healthy - they definitely didn't use salt or too much oil to cook the sausage and eggs. However, it's not something you would want if you want something flavorful but if you are watching your diet then it would be a good choice. My boyfriend's meal on the other hand was the complete opposite - Meat Lover Omelette with Roasted red potatoes and two biscuits. The omelette was filled with at least three types of meat enveloped in cheese and topped with more cheese. The roasted potatoes were pretty oily. The biscuits were pretty bad - bf loves biscuits and he only touched half of the two and told me it was dry and floury. So the food here is either pretty bad for you or pretty healthy - depending on what you select - but either way it's decent tasting food and pretty good service.

The waitresses here are cool. They seem to work together like a team, which is important since it's a small place. In fact so small inside it looks more like a simple watering hole (bar). I prefer to sit out on the little patio if it's a nice morning. I have been here twice so far and I will say I will give it a third try for sure. It's kind of hard to find unless you google map it first, and even when you arrive in the parking lot, you still need to walk around to find it. Look for the simple green awning overhead as the signage is poor. It's next to a liquor store sort of. ANYWAY, onto my food review: First visit: Eggs Benedict. Good, not great, but very good. In HB it's hard to find a breakfast place that makes ANY DECENT Eggs Benedict. I will try this again. My only complaint is when I ask for my hash browns to be extra crispy or well done I expect that. I'm not knocking Green Street alone on this as it seems no breakfast place seems to figure this simple task out. Second Visit: Huevos Rancheros. Very good. They give you 3 eggs, not 2 which is a bonus. Again, hash browns not cooked enough. Also, don't expect this breakfast to have that Mexican/American flair as the refried beans were almost non-existent, and what little they provided (maybe 2 tablespoons) were kind of watery. I asked for salsa and the salsa is weak and basically just crushed tomatoes. I ate the whole plate and was satisfied as a breakfast meal, but this plate needs more flavor and spice and Hispanic influence. OVERALL: I will eat here again. I like the atmosphere on the little patio. The eggs are cooked perfectly if you are an "over easy" person like me. It's really hard to find decent breakfast places in Huntington Beach. I like to support local mom and pop places rather than chains like Denny's. I found the service to be good. If you like your basic eggs and bacon type morning spots I would give this one a shot. I know my review seems negative, but I'm just being picky on what I like as I used to be a cook myself and worked in restaurants for at least a decade. Finally, I don't like sweet stuff, so I cannot comment on pancakes, french toast, waffles and the other breakfast items that always come with sweet stuff or toppings.

Green Street is one of the best breakfast spots in town. The service good, the food is good, and the portions are filling. They have all the standard breakfast dishes plus a few interesting items that are worth a try. - PB&J French Toast - S'mores pancakes - The Cajun Benedict - Chicken and Waffles The Country Breakfast (chicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy) is enough for two. Once you eat here you'll want to come back.

I've been on the hunt for Monte Cristo sandwiches, and Yelp! led me here. When you get to this address, note the green and white striped awning, and parking is also available in the back. Small place, with indoor and outdoor seating. We really enjoyed the Monte Cristo - a very satisfying amount of meat and cheese and boysenberry jam to dip - awesome! Also fabulous was the chicken fried steak (huge!) which comes with three eggs, hashbrowns, and two biscuits with gravy - half the steak and two biscuits went home with us. Other food items looked really good, staff were really friendly and efficient. Can't wait to come back soon.

This is a nice little brunch spot. The food was good. We weren't a fan of the chicken fried steak, it wasn't seasoned enough. It tasted a little plain compared to others we've had at other places. The Cajun crab Benedict was tasty and the s'mores French toast was nice and really sweet. Customer service was great.

Best breakfast ever. I love their eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise is genuine, like I make it when I make it from scratch. You can bring your fur baby along and sit on the patio, too.

  • Trisha B.

Ok I'm giving them back the five stars because the food is still incredible. Best eggs Benedict in all of HB and the service is outstanding. Actually, they have the best breakfasts period! Also, they do really listen to customers and try to implement suggestions, AND they make the best coffee of anywhere! It's not just the brand either, because I've had Lavazza at other places and not liked it. Theirs is just brewed really well. I had lunch here for the first time. Best sweet potato fries of anywhere and REALLY good onion rings! I loved the Buffalo chicken sandwich and I also tasted the blue cheeseburger, which was very good. Also, the owner took the time to come over and explain to me why the patio doesn't allow dogs, and it turns out there's much more to it than the servers had told me. Needless to say, I understand better now why it's very difficult for this restaurant to allow dogs on the patio.

A pretty decent place. I have been here twice. First time, I got the country fried steak. The portion was large, so that was a plus. The taste was a little bland. The second time, I got the Green Street French Toast (french toast filled with cream cheese and Grand Marnier soaked strawberries). That was good, but not enough plus I like to have protein so I got a side of sausages (2 for $3.95). This combo was kind of expensive, so not sure how I want to do this next time. Regular and a little bland item is cheap and comes in large portions. Or you can get the special, which has more flavor but not magical, has less portion and much more expensive. Your choice. Overall, server was okay, always friendly. First time, felt pushed. The second time was a bit ignored. But this is just perspective.

Came here an hour before closing (3pm) today and we were the only people in the place! I got the Chicken and Waffles with a Twist and damn, it was AMAZING. A huge portion (took half of it home), and it's the perfect combination of sweet, savory, and spicy. I like the flavor of jalapenos but hate the texture, and luckily the jalapenos are diced into tiny bits, so you only really notice the flavor. Bf got the Eggs Huntington and he said his was also delicious. Our waitress (sorry, I forget your name, you had the foreign accent) was amazingly attentive and friendly. There wasn't anything that wasn't wonderful about this place. We will definitely be back.

Green Street Cafe used to be under a different ownership and the variety of food available and the quality of the food changed like 360 degrees. My favorite dish here are the crab cakes with eggs Benedict. I have tried crab cakes in Baltimore, and I have to say this is better the ones I tried there. Call me crazy, but the flavors are just phenomenal and they give you a side of garlic aioli, which is a big winner for me. You can find all sorts of food from sandwiches, salads, burgers, soups, pastas, and much more.

This is one of the most exceptional breakfast places in the area. I have ordered almost everything on the menu, and even the items I don't necessarily like other places I'm impressed with here. The Cajun Benedict, the Greek omelet, the chicken fried steak, the fried chicken and jalapeno waffles, and the green st combo...all are excellent choices and I have yet to be disappointed. If you come on the weekend, Saturday or Sunday, you will be very disappointed about the wait. They also serve beers on draft.

So it is a definitely family owned restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch (but lots of entrees). They are open from 7-4, 7 days a week. The mother is super nice, the daughter or daughter in law- not so much. Food is decent. Pretty standard. They do have fresh ingredients and makes their own corned beef hash. The cook doesn't really know how to cook the eggs, the three times I've been here, I've asked for over medium and no runny whites but my whites are always runny.... I realize eggs are the hardest to cook but I do not like the way they cook their eggs. The bacon... definitely not thick or juicy more like crisp and cooked the day before. Sausage is good. It's a diner sort of place in the neighborhood. Worth a try if you like breakfast foods.

Great breakfast spot! Walking distance from our home which makes it even nicer! Highly recommend sitting outside as the patio area is great with a nice heater too. We shared the blueberry and the banana macadiama nut pancakes. Both were delciious and we had a lot of leftovers as the portion sizes were large. Expect a wait for the patio area since this place is so popular! We'll definitely be back!

I am giving one star because of the rude service from a blonde waitress with a (southern?) accent. She spoke very abruptly and rolled her eyes when we ordered the country breakfast. I overheard her talking to another waitress and she was cussing about a customer! The delivery of our breakfast was slow which would have been just fine if she had bothered to stop by to let us know what was going on. When she dropped off the check she didn't say anything, no, "Thank you" or " Have a nice day", nothing. I will give Green Street another try because the food was good and the busboy and hostess were very nice, but I will make sure we do not have the same waitress.

Great non-greasy cheap large-portioned food. I tried one of their build your own breakfast burritos the other morning, I think it was about 5 bucks and it was huge. Also the list of what you can add to your burrito has about 1000 choices to choose from including shrimp. The owner is the same as buon gusto so I figured it'd be quality and it was. The prices are more than fair and I think this place will give some of the other breakfast joints in the area a run for their money.

We have eaten there several times now and the service is excellent and the food is great. We've only eaten breakfast but I'm sure lunch and dinner is just as good. Peter the owner of Buon Gusto's next store has done it again!

Food is good but def not worth the wait on the weekends. 15 min line and then service is slow because they are busy. Pancakes were supposed to be something special so the server told us - they were just regular, typical pancakes. Good but just regular. Service was a slow. Coffee needs help. For a breakfast place the coffee should be better. Overall just ok

Fantastic food and great service. I had the eggs and pancake combo and both times they were prepared to perfection. I love the the bar and TV set up...didn't miss a beat with the games I was watching. The owner came around a couple of times and asked how we were doing. Coffee is kept full. Loved the overall experience. Definitely my new breakfast place.

We've been hearing great things about this place so yesterday morning, we grabbed the beautiful Bilotti's and headed there for breakfast. Suffice to say, we have a new favorite spot. The service was excellent. We also had the cute blonde waitress with the darling southern accent. She was awesome and took great care of us. But, when you treat servers with respect and kindness, you get the same in return. Thank you, Michelle, you made our dining experience awesome. Now, on the the food... I had the eggs Benedict and smashed potatoes. It was perfection. Other dishes at out table were bacon and eggs, house made granola and fruit. The fruit was tasty and very fresh. The granola was so good our friend had a second bowl. The hubby had an omelet he devoured. Also had bacon and eggs and my friend declared them the best she's ever had. What a wonderful little gem this place is. They'll be seeing a lot of us.

Been here a few times since we live up the street. I had a burger but by the time I was done the bun was so soggy that it fell apart. I don't think that is suppose to happen. I went back an had their seared ahi tuna salad and it was OK.. The only thing that we have had here that was delicious was their bacon breakfast burrito.

We love this place! Not only is it within easy walking distance (if coming from PCH), but the service and food are superior. The servers are prompt and friendly. Attention to detail was great: we like scrambled eggs soft and fluffy, and bacon crisp. And it was perfect. The pancakes are also yummy, very puffy and light. And now that I have learned they serve wine and beer, I will stop there for lunch soon! Prices are also very reasonable, compared to other breakfast/lunch type restaurants in the area.

Came here while visiting from out of town. Service was excellent and patient. My Huevos Rancheros was amazing. Mostly locals there, but this is a great stop for people checking out the area. Wish I was a regular there! Thanks to our waiter, Juan, for the great service.

We are so glad this opened. We have been there several times and haven't been disappointed. Try the corned beef hash. It's fresh daily and there is such a difference between fresh and most diners that serve canned hash. My husband had the chicken and waffles. It's a gourmet version, don't expect Roscoe's. Thank goodness this is finally here!

this brunch place is amaze. the smores stuffed french toast -- although a little sweet towards the end is to die for. if you don't want something overly sweet, try the elvis stuffed toast. delicious. there usually is a long line on sundays, so be sure to get there early.

Been here a couple times, I tried the chicken and Waffles. They were great, the waffle with the bacon, cheese, and jalapenos was fantastic. The second time I tried the New yorker Eggs Benedict, this was a bagel, creme cheese, capers, red onions and Lox on the bagel with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce. This is by far my favorite! but the side of Hashbrowns were so terrible, they had the consistency of mashed potatoes or instant potatoes from a box. I am not sure if they were overcooked or just poorly constructed.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place nearby for brunch on Sunday and found this little gem on Yelp. When we pulled up to the cafe, we noticed that there was already crowd waiting outside to be seated. By the looks of it, I was pretty excited because this must mean that this place was good (spoiler: it definitely was!). We put our name on the waiting list and it was about 20-25 minutes until we got seated but just grab yourself a menu to look over what you want while you're waiting. There's a nice outdoor patio with ample seating, seating indoors, and at the bar. We were seated at the bar but that was totally fine with me because I was just looking forward to chowing down. There's 3-4 TVs along the walls right in front of the bar so we got to enjoy some soccer action while enjoying our meal. The servers are so sweet and friendly--they come to check up on how your meal is and to refresh your drinks. We ordered: - Eggs Benedict w/ Green Street potatoes: This was my first time having eggs benedict and I was really pleased. I wish there was a bit more hollandaise sauce but overall, from the bites that I had, it was really good. - BYOB (build your own burrito): This comes with 3 eggs, choice of cheese, potatoes, refried beans, & salsa. You can add onto it what you will from the different choices of meat and veggies. I added sausage (+$1), bell peppers (+$0.50), and avocado (+$0.50) so it was $8.50 for my burrito. Overall, I had a really great experience here and can't wait to come back and try some of their other items on the menu.

If you're coming during the weekend, be prepared to wait a bit because this place is a favorite amongst the locals. They do have a great system and do a great job of clearing tables as soon as the previous customers leave. A big pet peeve for me at restaurants is watching a mass of people waiting for tables when there are tons available, but just dirty and not yet cleared. We came here because of the chicken and waffles and that did not disappoint. Now, I'm a big eater and I had a hard time even finishing half. For one, their chicken breast is huge and sits on top of a waffle that's mixed with jalapenos, bacon and cheddar cheese. I could have just had this on its own and been happy, but that chicken was amazing while being perfectly fried and crispy. If this all wasn't fattening enough, they smother it with a fantastic gravy and give you maple syrup on the side for your dipping enjoyment. The spice from the jalapenos gave the waffle a nice kick without being overbearing, but I did have the slight sniffles while eating. Like I said, this could easily be shared amongst two people, but it's worth trying to tackle the beast on your own if you have the appetite. Service was super friendly and we were constantly being refilled with water, iced tea and coffee. If you like patio seating, then you're in luck as Green Street Cafe has a huge outdoor area which seems to be the favorite amongst the locals. I'll definitely come back to take on one of their egg-stensive Benedict dishes they offer!

Very comfy breakfast place. Very friendly service. I had the Huntington Egg (portobellow mushroom egg benedict). This was okay. I know a benedict is suppose to be a poached/runny egg but I personally like it the yolk to have a thick flow. If they had cooked it just for a couple minutes, if not seconds, more, it would have been perfect for me. Good flavor though with the Portobello. The toast here with their butter is oddly very addicting! I personally prefer Café cup down the street, but not a bad place overall.

Had breakfast here one morning. Close enough to the ocean that you can smell the salt water from here. Theres parking in the front and in the back. The inside is pretty cozy but has counter and table seating. Theres also a patio for outside seating. The service was very friendly. The potions are pretty big, I had the corned beef with eggs. Seemed like lots of local frequent the place.

They have indoor and outdoor seating (on the patio). I had the eggs benedict, which was excellent. The restaurant is in a strip mall so if you sit outside, you have to watch cars park and enter/exit. Servers are friendly. For meat & potato kind of guys/gals, this place is for you.

I enjoyed having breakfast here. I ordered the Huntington Benedict bc I was looking for a dish without carbs but didn't wanna settle for a salad. It was really good. My boyfriend got the country fried steak he said it was so good for him to come back soon. Price range is decent.

Food tasted great. The service was good, our waitress was very kind. Only downside is how slow the food and drinks came out. We ordered coffee and tomato juice but the coffee took 20 minutes (to brew maybe??). It also took awhile for our waitress to attend to us but once she did it got better. I ordered the huntington eggs benedict w/o hollandaise. And a side of green st. potatoes (potato chunks with bell peppers and onions). The benedict was really good, especially with some generous cuts of the mushroom. Also the potatoes are also pretty good. Theyre almost in between chopped potatoes and hashbrowns. Got a side of buttermilk pancakes. Theyre perfect! Just what you would expect, good consistency, you can taste the buttermilk. The true treat is the CHICKEN N WAFFLES WITH A TWIST. this is incredibly delicious and the portions are good. Huevos Ranchero are also promising with a nice heavy sauce. The Greek yogurt with berries and granola is a pretty good size serving as well. Its a nice brunch diner. I recommend it!

We made just before a big rush and didn't have to wait long. They allow dogs but they have to sit on the outside of the gate which is understandable. I ordered the smore french toast and it was delicious. Suuuuper sweet so I couldn't finish it but still good. Their sausage link and bacon are great too! Service was awesome and they are all nice. Definitely must try.

While on vacation my family and I were looking for a good breakfast place before the Huntington Open Surf. Decided to try based on other Yelp reviews and photos. A small little cafe next to a gym in a strip mall just past Fountain Valley, more inland of Huntington. Greeted by the nice young lady we were offered indoor or outdoor seating. We sat outside at a cute little table and was greeted by our very friendly waitress. The menu has a great variety of options, something everyone will like ! They have eggs, scrambles, burritos, pancakes, waffles, French toast, potatoes, kids and a lunch menu . Also new and intriguing ideas like smores French toast or peanut butter and jelly pancakes. Also a major plus is the GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. Pancakes and waffles can be made gluten free !!! I got a gluten free waffle with fresh fruit and a side of potatoes, my mom got the regular Belgium waffle with strawberries, whip cream and a side of potatoes. And my dad got the breakfast Burrito. We were told they ran out of strawberries so we picked other fresh fruit. Food was out within 20-30 minutes and hot and tasty!! The waffle was a generous size and the fruit was delicious! As well as the homemade potatoes !! The breakfast burrito was filling as was the whole breakfast ! Not bad on pricing either . Overall a good breakfast stop with many options and great service . I would return.

Heard great reviews about this place, but food was just ok. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the eggs were WAY overdone. They never came to refill my coffee even though I was sitting AT the bar, right in front of them. Doubt I'll be back.

Amazing little brunch spot! I got the steak salad which was amazing, and my boo got country fried steak and eggs. Not expensive at all, and a really good amount of food. Every plate I saw go past me looked amazing too. I will definitely be going back.

Love this place, great food, great staff and my GF loves that they have Gluten-Free pancakes. Only place around she can get them. Place is always busy so expect a little wait but always worth it.

Be careful if you have a party over 4. The tables are all fitting for 4 only. Luckily there was a table of 4 and 2 empty and right next to each other so we didn't have to wait. Veggie Omelette ($8.25): Comes with 1 side (hash browns, green street potatoes, fruits, cottage cheese) and toast. First time I've ever gotten a veggie omelette anywhere. After the Halloween festivities, I didn't need any more meat or fatty foods! Got the fruits and wheat bread side .. of course =) The plate looks pretty plain since th bowl of fruit is so tiny compared to the plates with potatoes on them. The veggie omelette was good, nothing outstanding. A little too much cheese on top of the omelette for my taste. Service was average. Our waiter wasn't the most fabulous i've ever seen. He had done everything he needed to, but didn't go above & beyond. Nothing memorable. Look before entering the restaurant. We almost walked into the wrong spot but the entrance to green street cafe is located within the patio! Restrooms are shared among the plaza. Only one restroom... located in the back near the parking lot. Women's restroom was out of order on Saturday so there was a line waiting for the mens room. Grab a key from the hostess!

Outdoor dining was our choice as there was a beautiful breeze. The place isn't big on the inside either but traffic is steady so I don't think a wait would be very long. The food was surprisingly better than expected!! The service was good also, friendly waiter, quick, and got it all right. Will definitely be coming back.

Came here for breakfast for the first time with a group of 8, waiting was only 25 minutes. I got the huevos rancheros and it was good, flavor was satisfying. Prices are reasonable and the service is good. They have outdoor seating with a nice breeze. TV's are located inside for us sport fans.

Nice little patio, perfect for summer weather. Good customer service. Good portion for the price. We ordered Cajun Benedict with harsh brown and country breakfast. Harsh brown was good, crispy and well seasoned. Crab cakes were a little doughy, but overall, it was good. Country breakfast came with biscuits and a side of fruit. It was really dry. Cappuccino was $4.50, pricey for a small cup of coffee.

Yay for breakfast! Came here with some friends after a spin class and was hungryyy! The place was definitely packed on a Sunday morning, but we barely waited 5 min! woo. Had the corned beef hash w eggs and it was so yummy! A lot of places usually mess up corned beef hash but Green Street was on point. Moist and not overcooked as it usually is. Friend got the stack of chocolate chip pancakes and I had to try a bite bc they looked bomb. Moist and melts in your mouth, definitely recommend this for the sweet lovers. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Gets pretty jam packed for breakfast, so come earlier.

Ordered the Monte Cristo, the East Coaster, and a Breakfast Sandwich. Breakfast sandwich- DO NOT ORDER. Dry. The East Coaster- basically lox bagel w poached eggs on top. This was okay, but salmon was a bit fishy. Monte cristo- I will be returning here, but only for the Monte Cristo. It is a deep fried ham, turkey, cheese sandwich w powdered sugar and a boysenberry jam sauce as a dip. Its actually quite tasty!!! Definitely check it out! Customer service: average. Bill: $30.

I had the "chicken and waffles with a twist". The twist is that bacon bits, cheddar cheese, jalapenos and syrup are baked right into the waffle itself. The waffle was topped with a crispy golden brown chicken filet smothered with country gravy. Every part of this dish was perfect. The waffle was sweet and savory, not too soft nor too crispy. It was just right. The chicken filet was moist inside and with a crust that flakes off just right when you bite into it. Of course, the gravy was amazing too. This is by far on the best interpretations of chicken and waffles I have ever had. Green Street cafe is located just a short drive or bike ride from Sunset Beach. After breakfast, I went for a swim. It made for a great morning.

Fresh ingredients... Incredible bacon! Great quality whole wheat bread. Wasn't a huge fan of the iced tea but that's no biggie. I got the 3 egg breakfast the first time, eggs over medium, bacon extra crispy, whole wheat toast with fresh fruit (which WAS fresh & sweet as sugar!) and was completely satisfied. This time I'll try the breakfast sandwich!

I was amazed with this place. It is a great place to have your brunch with some beer. The amount of food that they give for a price, it's a steal!! Fresh and Tasty food. I ordred pancake with some sides for about $10. I was already satisfy with pancake. My friend ordered Chicken & Waffles!! That look huge and looks so dank!! We had enjoyed pancake, chicken & waffles, and Stella (beer) It was great place for brunch for hangout. We chose outside seating as other yelp reviewer recommended. It was great choice!! ((nice and quiet)) Over all the price came up to $60... kinda bit pricy for brunch but we had 2 beers each. I've got to come back for the pancake again!! Thanks!

I frequent this place for breakfast every time I am in Huntington Beach, and it never disappoints. The servers are friendly and attentive, plus the menu has a large variety of items. It gets a bit crowded on weekends, so beware if you are pressed for time. I highly recommend the Denver omelet, biscuits with gravy, and the gyro (kind of an odd choice for this place, but it was delicious)
